October Backpacking Trip

On this trip we had a little bit of rain and wind which is normal in this neck of the woods. We hiked along the beach from the local cemetary to Sand Dollar Beach and then cut up through the forest and muskeg (wetlands)to the road where our friend Shanon had dropped our car for us. On this trip we saw a whale surface just a few feet off shore. We also spotted an otter and had a deer pass our camp. There are always eagles everywhere; even more common than the ravens. They are always a majestic sight.
