The Krasin Ice Breaker

Each year an ice breaker or two come and clear a path through the sea ice for our fuel re-supply ship and supply ship to come into McMurdo. Here's the Krasin; the ice breaker who is working hard for us this year. In the foreground is Scott's Discovery Hut. New Zealand's Heritage Trust has a great web page that gives the history of the hut.
